Message for Susan: I’m Al and Ada Greenland’s daughter. When at their grave this week at Pine Hill Cemetery, I noticed the disturbance of the ground at your Mom’s grave site, so I found this site with notice of your Dad’s passing. Please accept my condolences and also from my sister Win. I hope you get this notice. Meanwhile, I will try to find your address or phone number. My dad and mom always spoke well of both your parents and I remember visiting with them before you were born. They were fun. Your parents’ graves are within eyesight of my parents’ graves, so I always go to say hello and reminisce when I’m there. Once again, I’m sorry for your loss. Myrtle

My Dad is going to be missed so very much! He tried to teach me how to drive a car, even bringing me on my 16th bithday,, to do the written test.(I think it was called 365?). He also sat with my beloved Ed(He was dying from cancer). In our kitchen recording everything they both could remember about family history, fun times, scary moments and much more! They both loved to talk and always a smile & laughter! Tomorrow (January 14th) would have been our parents wedding anniversary! Going through so many pictures, so many lovely memories.. One of my favorite is of Dad & Mom in high park in Toronto. Dad talked to me about that park. All written in my journal notes, to be placed in another scrapbook. I made one after my Mom passed in Nov/2001. Soon I will start making one in memory of a great Dad! Missing you. Dad…Love you! xoxo♥

My mom, Clarice, was uncle Israel’s sister. I had occasion when my mom died some time back to speak with uncle Israel and again some later when he wasn’t feeling well. I feel I met a kindred spirt. We are sorry to hear of his passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Our trips to see Uncle Israel, Sue and her family, while visiting Glenn in Barrie were the best! He gave us a great gift of kindness with that sparkle in his eye, shrug of his shoulders and big grin. Just like Dad, his brother Don. Thank you for that, dear Uncle. Thank you for you.

When my Mother passed away so did a large part of my Father. It is truly fitting that he will be laid to rest with her on their wedding anniversary (Jan 15th.) Though many sorrowful years have passed, so shall they be joined again on this earth. Sunnyside Park is where they courted and Pine Hills is where they’ll rest.
