Very sad to hear the passing of Jack. He was my platoon Sergeant at 32 Division and was a world of wisdom in Policing and his opinion I valued greatly.
    My sincere Condolences.

Jack was a true gentleman who always had a kind word and time for everyone. We often teased each other over our names and took credit for all the good things but blamed each other for the bad. Rest in peace my good friend.

Jack, you are one of my oldest and dearest friends. You helped me when I lost my dear Pat, you shared in my joy when I met Maureen and you have been like my older Brother for 25 years. I will miss your counsel and your stories but we promise to always take care of Mary. Until we meet again, Jack.

Mary words can’t say how sad we feel for your loss. He was a good phone conversation for a long drive home and someone you could bounce ideas off. The last few years were tough but he had those last few years because he was tough. Love to you and your family.

My Uncle Jack was a master story-teller. He was never at a loss for conversation, no matter what topic was being entertained! He always reminded me that his nephew (me) was less than 10 years younger than he was, which didn’t bother me in the least……. I will miss his fine wit and love of engaging in a good conversation. With love, Doug Hazlett.
