Ryley, James Harry- Peacefully surrounded by the love of his family, Harry passed on August 25, 2023, in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of the late Hazel Ryley (Nee: White). Loving father of Marlene (Peter Conley) and Susan (Kym) Bursey. Proud grandfather to Kristin Bursey and Jason (Jessica) Bursey. Dear brother to Robert (Bob) Ryley (deceased) and his family, Leah, Randy and Darlene. Forever in the hearts of his extended family, special neighbours, and friends. Harry worked with his parents and brother Bob at the Ryley General Store in Bethany. He was well-respected in the community and was always willing to help others. Harry spent his entire life in Bethany until his health required that he and Hazel move to be near their daughters Marlene and Susan and their families. He will be remembered for his honesty, sense of humour, love of playing cards and his devotion to his family.
The family would like to thank all staff at Simcoe Manor in Beeton for their kindness and compassionate care during his time with them.
A private graveside service will take place Thursday, August 31st, 2023, at St Mary’s Cemetery. A public Celebration of Harry’s life will take place at Bethany United Church from 12 pm to 1:30 pm on Thursday. For those who wish, donations can be made to Bethany United Church (3 George St, Box 68, Bethany,
