Peacefully passed away at Stevenson Memorial Hospital Alliston, on July 18, 2026. Jean Jennings (nee: Pirie) at the age of 93 years, beloved wife of the late Jack Jennings. Loving mother of Nancy Martin (Roger), and Susan Jennings. Dear grandmother of Katie (Darryl), Matthew (Katie), Sean (Regan), Olivia (Mike), Stevie (Kayla), Maggie (Matt), and the late Sarah, and great grandmother of Kallie, Henry, Charlie, Miles, Jack, Kennedy, Rhodes, Madeline, and Emma. Sadly missed by her sister Elinor Crawford (the late Ches). Fondly remembered by Chris (Denise), Jason (Stephanie), Shelby (Guntis), and all of her nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends. Forever in the heart of her four legged protector Winnie.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Jean’s Life will be held at the family residence (4 Forest Hill Drive, Everett) on Sunday August 16, 2026 beginning at 12:00pm.

Jean was our Miss Congeniality! A founding member of our “Hot Tub Gang”. She was a great friend, dearly loved, valued and appreciated. She told a great tale, laughed easily, called a spade a spade and was so much fun to be with. She had a great appetite and loved our get togethers. We loved getting together with her! Dear Nancy, Walter and I just learned of your Mom’s passing today (July 26). We will always remember her wonderful spirit and the times we shared with her. She will surely be much missed by her family and friends. I always felt a special bond with her as her name was Jean, the same as my mother’s, and my middle name. By coincidence my Mom also chose Rod Abrams for her funeral arrangements, so I was really affected by the notice, and I trust you were as comforted by their care as we were.
