Our heartfelt condonelnces to every on your sad loss.
    “Reflection”
We can shed tears that they are gone,
or we can smile because they have lived,
We can close our eyes and pray that they will come back.
, or we can open our eyes and see all tht they have left.

Our hearts can be empty because we cna’t see them, or we can be full of the love we shared. we can turn our back on tomorrow, or live yesterday, or we can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.

We can remember them and only that they are gone, or we can cherish their memory and let it live on. We can cry and close our mind, be empty and turn back, or we can do what they would want: smile, open our eyes, love and go on……

I know life seems very bleak at the moment – but think of all the happy memories you all have given your Dad.

    Talk soon. Love Rebekah x

Jay and I were so saddened to hear of Jim’s passing. He was such a cheerful, gentle, welcoming , man. He had certain traditions that were so endearing. Every Saturday after the 5:00 Mass at St Francis Church he would stand at his post to the right of the walkway and greet us as we scurried down the stairs. Each week he would share a joke, story, or bit of news that would bring a smile to our hearts as we continued on our way. What a fine goodwill ambassador he was!!! He will be sorely missed.

Jay and I are sorry we will be unable to attend the funeral as we are away. Our thought and prayers are with you as you honor this sweet,, Irish gentleman.

I will always remember my time spent with his family, from visiting the McKennas next door to bicycle rides around the block. Colgan has never known a more kind and jovial soul. For those of us who might chance to meet him along the way he simply lit up our day. I don’t think I ever had a chat with Jim without a good laugh as well. He was the link to so many people because he was the one who faithfully kept in touch with such great concern , especially the Irish diaspora around and about. Now he’ll be checking up on those above who have gone before him and heaven must surely be holding a wild Irish ceili to welcome him right now. My Sincerest Condolences, Jim was a Great Person and Great Irishman, always with a smile and a big Hello. I’m going to miss him stopping to talk to me on my walks and always asking about my health. Our loss, Heavens gain…
