Tribute: My acquaintance with Jo-Anne was through Emily, Clancy and Riley; Bernadette once suggested many years ago that Jo-Anne and I had a lot in common as we both suffered with chronic diseases. Jo-Anne and I struck up an internet friendship that was a comfort to us both for many years. There has never been a day go by that I have not prayed for my friend. When things were bad on either end,we would email flowers and messages of comfort and encouragement; when they were good, we rejoiced together. I am so glad Jo-Anne will no longer suffer, but I will miss my friend and her family will miss her guidance and concern, love and selfless devotion. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and perpetual light shine upon her. May she, and all the souls of the departed, rest in peace. Heather and John Mandar (Hogan)
