Bergin, John Arnold.
(Born March 28th, 1922, died at Alliston (Stevenson Memorial Hospital), Thursday February 12th, 2015 with his loving family by his side. Loving husband of the late Mary Agnes (for 66years). Dear father of Arnold and his wife Gerry, loving grandfather of Susan McCombes and her husband Alex, Karen Bergin – Payette, and loving grandpapa of Matthew Payette. Sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Olivia for her compassionate care over the years and the staff at Stevenson Memorial Hospital (Alliston) for their kind support and care.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. James Church, Colgan, 11:00 am Monday February 16th, 2015 followed by interment in St. James Cemetery, Colgan. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation, 200 Fletcher Cres., Box 4000, Alliston, ON, L9R 1W7 would be appreciated by the family. It is with deep sorrow that I
learned of the death of your Dad, Father-in-Law, Grandfather in the Spectator.
I have many fond memories of
Arnold and Mary when they lived in Hamilton. Art and I visited your family on many occasions. It was always a pleasure to get together. They were both such hospitable people. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Please accept my sincere condolences.
