It was deep sadness that I heard about John’s death. I remember with much fondness the times we met on Manitoulin
when visiting Kathy. John had a smile that lit up the world around him and sense of humour that lightened tense situations. May your love and memories bring comfort to each of you. With much love, thoughts, and prayers. Erwin

John has been my neighbourly ray of sunshine, with his magnetic smile (& sometimes a helping hand) offered whenever he saw me, since I was lucky enough to move in across the road 13 years ago. I could not have asked for a better neighbour! Sincere condolences to Vicky, Terry, Joey & family. His sunny personality, his kindness & above all, his laugh, will live on in the memories of all of us who were privileged to know him.

Our hearts are very saddened with such an incredible loss. Getting to know John over the past year has touched us deeply. Despite his progessing disease,he never complained, never stopped caring and giving and he never gave up hope nor gave up his positive demeanor and wonderful smile . He and Vicky treated us like family from day one. I know heaven has gained a very special angel who is free of his burdens and his pain and no doubt is finding a new fishing hole. May you rest in peace John, we are better people for knowing you.

There are no words that can express the pain and sadness I am feeling after hearing of John’s passing. It is unbelievable even as I see his picture posted. I will never forget him or his voice and I will cherish many great childhood and recent memories we had. John was always caring and happy to see you, I loved that in him. HE WAS ONE OF A KIND! And I was very proud to be his cousin. I will truly miss him and remember him as a great big brother. I pray that God keeps him safe and by his side until we meet again someday. I loved him as I do all my cousins. It’s not fair that he was taken from us too soon.
My heartfelt and deepest sympathy go out to Vicki, Aunty Bessie and the entire Kriegizas family.
