Karen King

In Memorial

Peacefully at her home in Newmarket on Thursday November 28, 2013. Karen (Power), at the age of 48 years, beloved wife of John King. Loving mother of Christopher and Ashley, and Jesse and Matt. Remembered with love by her grandson Colby. Beloved daughter of Marie and the late Ray Power. Fondly remembered by her siblings: Debbie Smith, Brian Power, Barb Showers, Andrew Power, her nieces and nephews: Tyler, Shelby, Daniel, Kevin, Jacob, and Sarah, and her extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends at Rod Abrams Funeral Home, 1666 Tottenham Road, Tottenham 905-936-3477 on Wednesday December 4, 2013 from 12pm until time of memorial service in the Chapel at 1pm.

    Hello,My daughter reeviecd a headband with flower clip on it from Abigail ealry last week at valley childrens. Thank you! It is awsome what you are doing. My daughter has HLH and just started to loose her hair for the last few days, and the bling helped! Thank you!

    Karen was a vibrant cheerful young women who was always fun to be around and one of the few I never heard say a bad word about anyone. Her passing is too soon and she will be missed by all who knew her. Our sincere condolences go to John and the entire King, Powers Families.

    We all loved and continue to love Karen so much. Her life was an example for us all in how to love and behold one another. Her soul continues to guide our hearts and she is with us always. Her dear voice and laughter guiding us through our days.

    I am truly sorry for your loss. I know how difficult it must be for you all to lose such an amazing woman. It sadness my heart. She was a truly sweet person.
