MacDonald, Karen Elizabeth
Peacefully, after a courageous battle, on Thursday, July 26th, 2007, at Stevenson Memorial Hospital, Alliston. Karen (Pettie), in her 49th year, beloved wife of Jim MacDonald. Loving mother of Sarah and Michelle. Sadly missed by her brother Jim and Jan Pettie and her brother and sisters-in-law Susan and Paul Dill, Theresa and Jack Broeders, Anne Marie and Mark Benson, Brian and Brenda MacDonald, and Dan and Diana MacDonald. Pre-deceased by her parents Jim and Betty Pettie. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
Resting at Rod Abrams Funeral Home, 1666 Tottenham Road, Tottenham, 905-936-3477 on Sunday, July 29th, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel, 11:00 am Monday, July 30th, 2007, followed by cremation. Donations in Karen’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, or the charity of your choice, would be appreciated by the family.
