Lena and I are sorry to hear of Kay’s passing and offer our condolences to Kenny and Mark and extended family. She and Gerald lived on Adjala 8 up the road from us for many years. Their home had such beautiful flowers and landscaping and the bar that Gerald made for the Legion still benefits all of us. She was one of those people who worked quietly in her own way to better our community and bring us all closer together.

I was so lucky to call Kay my golf buddy! I would get a phone call from her for every tournament in the area to play with her. It was a honour to join her and I am going to miss all the fun we had.

    Dear Hutchinson Family,
Please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of Katie. We first met her and her late husband, Gerald, through the Royal Canadian Legion 40 years ago and always remember the good times we enjoyed with them during our participation at the many Legion functions. Both Katie and Gerald were wonderful people who will be sadly missed.
May you find comfort during this sad time of sorrow by cherishing the beautiful memories Katie has left with you and all of us.

    Sincerely,
    Al & Judy Lord

She will be truly missed by her golf group that she organized. We call ourselves Kay’s Lucky Charms. She had such a generous heart and always made sure that everyone was included in all her plans. We hope to keep this group going in her honour.
