    Death is nothing at all
I have only slipped away into the next room
I am I and you are you
Whatever we were to each other
    That we are still
Call me by my old familiar name
Speak to me in the easy way you always used
Put no difference into your tone
Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow
    Laugh as we always laughed
At the little jokes we always enjoyed together
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me
Let my name be ever the household word that it always was
Let it be spoken without effort
Without the ghost of a shadow in it
Life means all that it ever meant
It is the same as it ever was
    There is absolute unbroken continuity
What is death but a negligible accident?
Why should I be out of mind
Because I am out of sight?
I am waiting for you for an interval
    Somewhere very near
    Just around the corner
    All is well.
Nothing is past; nothing is lost
One brief moment and all will be as it was before
How we shall laugh at the trouble of parting when we meet again!

    My dear friend Robyn:

Sorry you have lost your father. No child is ever ready to lose their parent. You were there for him through his entire journey, gave him the support he needed, and expressed your love for him daily. Know that you did everything you could for him and now he is at peace. You and your entire family are in my heart.

    Take Care,

Dear Maureen & Extended Families; We were quite shocked to hear of Keith’s death. This has left a significant void in our Community. Keith was a valued Member of Council and often brought a different dimension to the discussions at hand. This lead to improved outcomes. He certainly will be missed at such events as “Flipping burgers on Canada Day”. Keith had a great sense of humour and always stopped to speak with people in a most positive way. Maureen, our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Please give our regards to your family and friends. Love, Larry & Theresa

Maureen, our prayers and thoughts go out to you and your family. I enjoyed my time with Keith on Council and our chance meetings through Community events. A big part of your life has been taken away and that is where your broad base of family and friends will help fill the void. Keith left his mark in life and a good person can only ask that of life.
Blessings and Love, Ken and Bonnie Pratt
