Prentice: Kenneth Allan “Ken”
It is with deep sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Kenneth Allen “Ken” Prentice at Sunnybrook Hospital on August 13, 2026, at the age of 68, peacefully with his loving family by his side.
Ken was the beloved father of Jessica (Vince), Jeff (Cortney), and Nathan (Julie), and a cherished grandfather to Katelyn (Kyle), Julia, Samantha, Owen, Olivia, Aria, Valerie, Gabriel, and Jameson.
He will be dearly missed by his siblings Doug (Adair), Kathy (the late Gerry), and Gord. Ken was predeceased by his parents, James and Bernice Prentice.
He will be forever remembered and lovingly missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Ken’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
The family will receive family and friends at Rod Abrams Funeral Home, 1666 Tottenham Rd., Tottenham, 905-936-3477, on Sunday, August 23rd, 2026, from 10am until the time of Service at 12pm. A reception will be held in the funeral home’s Cliffside Hall. Interment will follow in Trinity United Cemetery, Beeton.

Kenny was a very special person and a great employee and friend to all of us at RTM. He worked with us from around 2012 right up until the last few weeks of his life and was someone you could always count on, no matter the task.
I have a lot of great memories working alongside Ken, and I genuinely don’t think I could have gotten through some of the jobs without him. He was tough, hardworking, dependable, and always managed to throw in a joke along the way.
Ken will be greatly missed. My deepest condolences to his family and everyone who knew and loved him.

Kenny was a mover , meaning he could not sit still for long, he was always on the move.
He loved life, his kids and grandchildren.
Quite often he would talk about his kids and how well they have done.
He loved to come to the farm , about a month ago he came down and had a ride in the tractor while Francis was racking hay.
He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
We will certainly miss his phone calls and visits.
