Lois Fairhead

In Memorial

July 2, 1933 to October 23, 2012

Suddenly with complications from a long battle with COPD on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at Stevenson Memorial Hospital Alliston. Lois, born July 2, 1933 in Scarborough, was the loving wife of the late Edward (Ted) Fairhead. Loving mother of Allan Fairhead (Mary), Jo-Ann McCreary (Keith), Gordon Fairhead (Nancy), and Gayle Hinchey (Grant). Loving Nana to: Sarah, Rita, Ed, Colin, Allison, Alicia, Robert, and Holly. Great-grandmother of Alex, Andre, and Sierra. Sister of Shirley Mann (Brampton) and Pat Henby of California. With a strong vision and love of their family, Ted and Lois opened the family business Alliston Print & Litho Inc. in 1976. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. Cremation has taken place at Lois’ request. Private family interment to take place at a later date. Donations, if desired, may be made to Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation (200 Fletcher Crescent, Box 4000, Alliston, L9R 1W7) or the Royal Canadian Legion Branch  #171, Alliston Cenotaph Fund (111 Dufferin Street South, Alliston, L9R 1E9).  Arrangements entrusted to Rod Abrams Funeral Home, Tottenham 905-936-3477.
