Tyler, Jeremy and Samantha, My heart aches for you during this sad, sad time. Since you started attending MCPS, one thing I know for sure is how much your mom loved each of you. She made that quite clear during our many conversations at the school. My prayers are with you. Take care of each other.
    Mrs. Reiner,

Dear Lori…always a smile, laughter, an overall beautiful person. You were too young to have been taken, however, God has chosen a better place. You did “Light up our Life”…till we meet again dear…..God Bless…xxoo

    Lori

What can I say of one so young,
Who left us with so much undone.
You left your mark upon this world,
Which could only come from such a special girl.
The day you sang your songs so free,
In Poppy’s field, just you and me.
Among the buttercups and grass so green,
You were the prettiest little thing we had ever seen.
“You Light Up My Life” at the time was your song,
But you learned many others as time went on.
“Satin Sheets” we recorded in the now old fashion way,
But the fun we had is remembered to this day.
Our family vacations were always a treat,
When it came to the children it was hard to beat.
Your joy and laughter through all the years,
Will forever be music to our ears.
Life now has given you a new road to travel,
You leave us behind, this sadness to unravel.
As you take, “Life’s Railway To Heaven” you will see much more,
And find your new home, on that blissful shore.
    God Bless and keep you.

    Uncle Terry

Such a shock to hear of this awful news. My deepest of sympathies to you all….I remember sleepovers at the Snow household during summer vacation, and Debbie and I would be treated to chocolate-chip pancakes made by Lori. She was always so nice. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

    ~Love Monica.

At a time like this, we are at a loss for words to express our condolence to someone who has lost a loved one.
How to say that we care?
How to say that we understand?

Lori you will be so missed be it at GatorLand, Karoke, Wing Night, Nascar or just us girls making wine. You were an inspiration to us, a smile on your face at all times. When you talked of your children and when you called out Schalk with so much love in your voice. We all felt the love you had in your heart. You will light up heaven with your smile. Maybe it was time for a very special angel showing everyone what a good time is all about. Samantha (my PolyAnna), you will miss your mother so much, you are in my heart and prayers. I hope we can still have our girls night.
    There is comfort in friendship,
    hope in prayer,
    peace in love.
    Sharing in your sorrow
    with love and friendship
Jacqui + Fritz, Matthew + Stephanie

I was so taken back & shocked to see on facebook that Lori had passed away. Like so many others here, I too have fond childhood memories of Lori. I had gone to Tottenham Public School with here. And on facebook, we’d take ssome time to play catch-up with our childhood. The saddest thing of all is how young and beautiful she was. R.I.P. friend.

It was only about four weeks ago in the Primrose Petro Canada station I was working in the store. When in walks Jeremy asking for change for a five. And who was outside pumping air in her Trademark Blue car.?? Lori herself. You were a beautiful soul and so are all your kids. And don’t worry Lori. Just like we all love you. We love them too. And they are stuck with us. None of us here would have it any other way 🙂
