My mother always commented on how kind your family treated her when she married my father. As a child I remembered how much I enjoyed my visits with your family.
In my mother’s later years Marilyn and Dorothy made a point to visit my mom whenever they were in Scarborough. Those visits were special to my mother.
Marilyn was a beautiful woman who always wore a pleasant smile.
Wishing you peace, comfort, courage and lots of love at this time of sorrow.

Was saddened to hear of the passing of Marilyn. Marilyn was one of the last links to our Dad’s side of the family and was so lovely to have that connection. It was so nice to see Marilyn and Dorothy at our daughter’s wedding 6 years ago. I know it was stressful for them to navigate their way but they did and so glad we have that nice memory with them. My sincerest condolences to Richard and also Barbara and Glen and their families. I am positive of the joyous reunion in heaven and for that I am grateful. With much love, Yvonne and Ed Powell; Andrea Powell, Justin, Hunter, Aiden; Danielle and Shawn Malone, Carter and Avery; Julia and Giancarlo McEvenue, Gianna. xoxo

Ive had the wonderful opportunity to get to know Marilyn well, working in the activities department at The Elden. She truly was such a bright light, always offering her smile to those around her. I will always be thankful for her stopping by my office just to chat, to her amazing skills at virtual bowling.
I’m going to miss her dearly and am so thankful to have got to know the beautiful soul she was.
Sending my condolences to her entire family and all the many friends I know she held dear to her heart.
