I did not know Marjorie long, but she became a good friend. We shared a room in St. John’s rehab. Hospital after both of us had had a fall. We continued our friendship after we returned home, and I always enjoyed our telephone conversations. Her philosophy of “go with the flow” always cheered me up. She was a treasure.
My condolences to Jane and her husband on their loss.

Jane your mother was a peaceful, smart, pleasant person. I enjoyed her company. She was an honorary elder in our church. She gave a lot to service in the church and community. Her contribution was important. I will miss her.

Dear Jane….I’m so sorry for your loss. It’s never easy losing a parent however may you find comfort knowing she will be missed by many. Your mom had a huge impact on so many in the community of Schomberg. She was a teacher to many and a friend to all. Our neighbourhood was built on friends like your mom and dad….we were so lucky to have grown up with them as part of the circle of neighbours. I also had the pleasure to have travelled with your mom to England and Scotland –my mom and two of my sisters and a friend named Mary all had such a great time. I loved her laugh….just thinking of her laugh makes me smile today. Take Care Jane and again my condolences

    Dear Jane and Luke,
We were sorry to hear that Marjorie had passed away. Marjorie was one of my teachers in public school, and I also worked with her when I began my teaching career.
What ever challenges she encountered, I always noticed how she made a plan to deal with the situation.
Marjorie made a tremendous contribution to her church, town, and condo community while she lived in Schomberg.
She will be missed. Sincerely, Mary and Patti Agnew
