We wish we could have attended the funeral to personally convey our sympathy to all the family on the loss of a mother/grandma/great-grandma who was loved by so many. She was our Sister in O.E.S., our dear friend in life. Loved the way she would get that twinkle in her eye & that sly smile when she was up to mischief. She loved being part of ” the Husky Gang” & we loved having her there to share a meal & good times. We are glad she lived such a long & full life but will miss her terribly. Rest in Peace, dear friend.

Carolyn and family…I was so sorry to read in the paper about your Mom..I would have been there if I had of known..she was a great friend to both Mom and Dad and I know my parents valued all the years of friendship they had with your Mom and Dad..I saw your Mom so many times when I drove Dad to various functions after Mom passed away and she always had a smile on her face and kind words..she came to Dad’s funeral two years ago and I was so happy. That she came…We were lucky enough to have Dad live to 96. But you were even luckier to enjoy more time with your Mom….my thoughts are with you and now we know the 4 of them are all having their own Eastern Star meeting in heaven… Nancy Weddell McElroy

We will always remember your Mom’s beautiful smile and warm welcome. She was the last of the “New Years Gang” which started in 1947 – 12 friends who had such good times over the years. What a lady. We’ll miss her.

It will be the little things that you will remember, the quiet moments, the smiles, the laughter. And although it may seem hard right now, it will be the memories of these little things
that help to push away the pain
and bring the smiles back again.

Dear Carolyn during the years that we have worked together and shared many pictures and moments of your mother. I never had the pleasure of meeting a more beautiful and elegant looking lady until Friday when I met her at the hospital. The smile she gave me and when I held her hand and she smiled from ear to ear my heart just melted. May
she rest in peace. Lynda,Owen and Sarah.

Mary, you were one of the nicest, ladies I ever had the pleasure to know. We shared many afternoons together and you never said an unkind word toward anyone. You were a lady through and through. If only everyone in the world could be like you, it would be such a perfect place. You will be missed terribly.
