Peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family on September 25, 2014, in her 97th year.
Beloved wife of the late Basil Hanrahan (1988). Loving Mother of Patricia and Tom Parsons, Jim and Shirley, Roseanne and Risto Nihtila, John and Helen, Betty and John O’Sullivan, Dan and Kirstie, Tom and Kathy, Anthony (deceased 2000) and Kathy, Helen and Steve Smith and Bill and Debi. Lovingly remembered by 22 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. Sister of the late M.J. Doyle.
The family will receive friends at Rod Abrams Funeral Home, 1666 Tottenham Road, Tottenham, 905-936-3477 on Sunday September 28th, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. James Church, Colgan, 11:00 am Monday September 29th, 2014 followed by interment in St. James Cemetery. Your Mother always greeted us with a smile and immediately asked about our welfare. She was a lady of her era: kind, gracious and concerned. She also knew how to dress!
I know you and your family will miss her greatly but she was blessed with her family’s love.
