A Beautiful Soul,
Fond Memories of “Aunty Mo” (& Uncle Pete) she was always kind and full of love – taking after “Mommar” (Mary) for fussing, not sitting down for a second and putting others 1st as always.
I had the pleasure to visit Canada once in my youth with our Mark, Mommar & Grandad (Mary & Alan) in the Fall and it was amazing & Mo & Pete made it extra special.
I will miss Maureen but happy in the knowledge that she is reunited with Pete, Mary, Alan & Tony

So sad to hear the passing of my cousin Maureen. When we were little and visiting our Grandma, she always looked out for me. It was Maureen who took me on my first Waltzer and Big Wheel at Ilkeston fair. Such happy memories of that. She was also a great support to her brother never criticising and always positive
She was always adventurous and up for new things, holidaying in Europe before people did and then taking a job in the US before emigrating to Canada.
In later years we kept in touch and found we had much in common. She had a wonderful attitude and led a spiritual life as an example to others in a quiet way. It was great to be able to meet up when in the UK.
I will miss her a lot. Love and light to her
Love Wendy

Fond memories of Cousin Maureen. A kind hearted lady who always lifted my late father’s spirits every Christmas Day with his ‘phone call from Canada’ as she kept in touch with her Uncle Reg.
So pleased we were able to meet up in recent years and keep in touch.

The amazing lady that had time for everybody.
She wished everyone well and like her Mum Mary always put others first.
Her Healing box was always full ,with many many names

I never heard my Auntie complain, she got on with life
and was a mentor to many.
I have learned so much she is Brilliant and I will keep learning from her as the years go by until we meet again.
Pete will be happy that you are together again and I’m sure he’s making you laugh until you cry .
I can see that now in my thoughts it’s happening for certain.
She loved her birds and animals A typical Snow White of a woman they loved her back.

So sorry to hear the sad news of Maureen’s passing. We shared so many happy times together with both her and Pete over a 55 year great friendship. Such a shock as I was speaking to Maureen only a couple of days earlier.
“Both now gone, but never forgotten”, Rest in Peace
