Natalie and I were soul friends throughout high school, with frequent sleepovers at each other’s homes, many deep discussions at an early stage in our lives, both of us creative in our way, and very much resonant in our outlook and values. We shared so much regarding music, art, writing, people 🙂 She was a warm, caring, loving friend, and when I caught up with her again in Alliston, it was as if time hadn’t passed vis a vis our connection. A beautiful spirit has left this plane, and will watch over those she loved. God bless you all as you say farewell for now – what sadness when a good soul is no longer physically among us. with much love, Janina

A Mother’s Farewell To Her Children

    When I must leave you
    for a little while,
    Please do not grieve
    and shed wild tears
    And hug your sorrow
    to you through the years,
    But start out bravely
    with a gallant smile;
    And for my sake
    and in my name
    Live on and do
    all things the same,
    Feed not your loneliness
    on empty days,
    But fill each waking hour
    in useful ways,
    Reach out your hand
    in comfort and in cheer
And I in turn will comfort you
    and hold you near;
    And never, never
    be afraid to die,
    For I am waiting
    for you in the sky!

Lisa sharing the above inspirational verse with you is our quest to infuse hope, strength and light.

Persue your dreams, fulfilling your destiny. Your Mom will be with you every inch of the way.

Sending love and sympathy and to say we miss you.

It was with deep sadness I read of Natalie’s passing. We had spent many weekends making the “trek” from the city to their house in Everett to play cards and enjoy each others company. We had lost touch over the years but I will never forget those cherished fun times. RIP Nat

I am Natalie’s older brother and the one thing that I remember about Natalie was she was very tenacious. She was also very creative, opinionated and loyal. She was a caring mother who did a great job raising her two children Clifford and Lisa.
I especially want to thank Ken for all he has done and sacrificed over the past years looking after Natalie and trying to make her life as comfortable as could be.
I will miss Natalie and our spirited discussions regarding politics and social issues; she was Liberal and I am Conservative (I am also a U.S. citizen) so that made for some spirited exchanges of opinion.
She was a good sister, a good person and a good mom and I will miss her big time!

My deepest and most sincere condolences to Ken, Clifford and Lisa at this time. Natalie and I were high school friends who kept in touch over the many years since those days from Etobicoke, Bala and eventually Alliston. I will always cherish our discussions about family, life, music and her many passions. God now has a very special angel in Heaven !

    Natalie was a wonderful person.

I was working side by side with Kenny when they met. I remember him telling me all about her. I was so excited for him. Shortly after that, I met her in person, and knew he had found the one.

We shared a tonne of laughs at a gig my band played at Caspers, back in the mid 90’s, we had so much fun and we still laugh about Kenny singing and imitating House of the Rising Sun, while Natalie giggled and shook her head.

I met Lisa when she was just a little girl, and now I work with her, and we have some good laughs at work.

I hadn’t seen Natalie in some time but kept up to date through Kenny and Lisa.

I’ll always remember her, she was super cool.

    Very sad,

    Pauly
