At York Central Hospital Richmond Hill, on Monday May 2, 2011. Nora Hunt in her 96th year; beloved wife of the late William “Bill” McKay. Loving mother of Doreen and her husband Doug Jose of Bennet, Nebraska, and Margaret van der Zande of Richmond Hill. Remembered with love by her grandchildren: Darrell Jose of Toronto and Alicia van der Zande of Richmond Hill. Survived by her special nephew, Howie and his wife Donna Aikins of Toronto.
Resting at Rod Abrams Funeral Home 1666 Tottenham Rd., Tottenham 905-936-3477 on Friday May 6, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel at 10:30am on Saturday May 7, 2011. Followed be interment in Trinity Cemetery Beeton. Donations in Nora’s memory to the charity of your choice, would be appreciated by the family.

Nora was a great lady, always saw the good side of everyone,taught me a lot about life when I worked with her in the Manor, I was just a young teenager (14) at the time and she had to explain a lot of things about the job to me and never lost her great patience with me. I always will remember her great caramel pie. Sorry to hear of your great loss.
