Deep sorrow at this loss of your Dad, grandpa, and great grandpa. I remember him fondly and the great horses he handled with such ease and gentle firmness. To all the McGuire family, I am saddened to hear the passing of my neighbour of 55 years. And what a great neighbour he was. A man true to his convictions and honest as they come. A man who loved the farm and he and Gerry managed to live their lives on it to the very end. May the next generation carry on that McGuire tradition as this generation passes the torch.
Rest in peace with Gerry my friend

Tom Donnelly says
Uncle Paul will be sorely missed — the last of the Schomberg McGuire siblings; it truly was a great generation. His farm was organic long before organic was cool. His ethics and character were strong and centred and unchanging despite the maelstrom of ten decades of world upheaval. May God rest his hard working soul and continue to bless his family.
Susan McGuire says
Tom,
You have captured the essence of Paul as I knew him. He was a rock-solid good man.

George Cave Jr. says
I’m saddened by the passing of Paul. I’ve known him and his family since I was 2 and we lived in the little white house. Our families became more than friends; we became extensions of each other. Teresa, Keith, Lynda, Jim, Sharon, Lorraine and Shawn were the older siblings I never had while Chris became a younger brother to me.
Dad and I share your grief.
Ellen Cowie says
