If you would have told us 33 years ago we would meet a Canadian couple while on a trip in Jamaica and become life long friends, we would have said we doubt it could or would happen. For some reason God had our paths cross and the years we spent together visiting each other, weddings and birthday parties flew by. The fun we had laughing and the close times of crying together were special moments.

Ron was a special friend to all and the pranks we played together were times to treasure. It is a wonder that we never got into serious trouble over a few of those pranks.

Jaime, Brett and Melanie, we watched each of you grow up and love you like our own children. Denise, you have a place in our hearts and you are our family and always will be.

Words cannot say or convey the love we have for all of you, or the loss and pain we feel with the passing of Ron. Know that our sympathy is with each of you as you mourn the loss of a husband, father, grandfather and friend. Without a doubt he loved you all and was very proud of each and every one of you.

Ron was truly special and touched everyone he came in contact with, he had a way of getting people to open up. You could not help but to laugh as he found a way into your heart.

We lost a dear friend and will miss him always. We look forward to the day when we are all reunited with Ron at the banquet table. Without a doubt the first thing that Ron will pass is the Pepsi.

You are in our prayers and we are with each of you in thought and spirit.

Good by our dear friend and keep them laughing until we see you again.

My condolences to the Hiron family for their loss.
Ron is probably doing comedy improv to a bigger audience and looking down chuckling at all of us.
I knew him as a knowledgeable and hard working farmer who would offer assistence if needed.

Denise and Family, our deepest sympathy on Ron’s passing, whenever he came into the garage he always had a big smile on his face and you just knew he had a good joke to tell, and would reminisce about hockey, so rest in peace and you and Bruce can tell each other jokes and remember all the fun times.

Ron was one of the first people to welcome us to the street when we moved in 6.5 yrs ago. He was always there to help blow out the driveway if needed, always with a wave and a smile, always joking and laughing with us. He was a treasure that will be sadly missed. Our condolences to the entire family, Denise and Brett, we are so very sorry for your loss.

I was such a regular fixture back on the farm that I considered it my second home. That made Ron and Denise my second parents and Jamie, Brett and Melanie my brothers and sister. I am grieving with you all. I have nothing but great memories of my time spent with all of you. Ron and his (bad) jokes and smart aleck responses will be missed by everyone who had the honor to know him.

Ron & Denise have been our neighbours for the best part of20 years. Never had such great neighbours, I have no skill, Ron could not watch me make a mess of some building project, he would often bail me out of trouble I had created for myself. We told each other stories, sitting in the yard. A great guy we will both miss him

Ron, was one of the great ones. One of my fondest memories is Ron was when he would stop Jackie and I at the end of the laneway after the school bus dropped us off. He would ask us if we had a good day and asked what we learned. Both of us would say “nothing”…his reply would be…”I guess that why you are going back tomorrow ” He will be greatly missed. He was neighborhood watch before that was even a thing. Thinking of Denise, Jamie, Melanie and Brett during this difficult time. Xo
