Ronald ‘Ron’ Passer

In Memorial

Passer Ronald

Passer: Ronald James ‘Ron’,
With family by his side at Southlake Health in Newmarket on Friday December 26, 2025, passed away peacefully at the age of 77 years. Beloved husband of Brenda Passer (nee: Adams). Dear father of Deborah ‘Deb’ Passer (Darrell Lewis), Charlene Fox, Carmen Passer, and James Passer (Sierrah Bell). Sadly missed by his grandchildren Kelsey (Carlos), Coleton, Kurtis, Sophia and Wyatt. Remembered by his brothers Larry (Loretta), Billy (Donna), and the late Franklin. Forever in the hearts of his extended family and friends.

Ron was a well-established owner/operator of the family business, Accurate Industrial Waste based out of Toronto, Ont., that was started by his father in 1939. They later moved to Vaughan, Ont., where the family farm was built in Maple, Ont., in the late 1960’s.

Gone from the road, never from our hearts, Ron was an active member in the classic car club community including Aurora Car Club, Recycled Teenagers and the Back Alley Cruisers. He was an avid classic car collector, purchasing and restoring many vehicles over the years starting with his first purchase back in 1981 of a 1956 Ford Victoria.

An animal lover who’s heart was always open to every creature big or small.

We gather to remember a life fueled by a love of cars and the open road. Ron’s passion, pride and joy in every journey left lasting memories with all who knew him. Though Ron has taken his final drive, his spirit lives on in every mile remembered.

Visitation will be held at Rod Abrams Funeral Home 1666 Tottenham Rd., Tottenham 905-936-3477 on Friday January 2, 2026 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday January 3, 2026 at 11am. Following the Service, a Reception will be held at The Loretto Tavern 7994 Simcoe County Rd 1, Loretto, Ont., L0G 1L0. Online condolences and memories may be left for the family at www.RodAbramsFuneralHome.com.

Ron will be sadly missed. He was a very good friend, and I met him quite a few years ago, and did shows at his home for the car club. I’m very sad to hear that he’s passed away, and I know he will be remembered by so many, and loved by all who knew him.

“Whad’ya bring me Kid?” I’ll never forget you Ronnie! You and Brenda and the support you gave me through some tough teenage years, opening your home and taking care of a few of us lost girls. Some of my most fond memories of those years were spent under your roof. God bless you and may you rest in eternal peace.
