Peacefully with family by her side at her home, on September 11, 2023. Roselyn East (nee: Matchett) at the age of 71 years, beloved wife of Douglas East. Loving mother of Teri Legros-Smirnios (David), Shannon McCullough, and Joshua (Aliesha). Dearly loved by her grandchildren Sydney (Denis), Hannah (Liam), Barbara Anne (Rowan), Kyla (Anthony), Bennett, Laura, McKenna, and great grandchildren Henry and Eleanor. Remembered with love by her siblings Albert, Ronald (the late Sharon), Donald (Susan), Josephine McGregor (Peter), Nancy Stuckless (Rex), Dawn East (Geoffrey Foran) and Stacey Green (Kent). Forever in the hearts of her nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Sadly missed by her furry companions Shady and Dre.
The family will receive friends at Rod Abrams Funeral Home 1666 Tottenham Rd., Tottenham 905-936-3477 on Thursday September 14, 2023 from 6-8pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday September 15, 2023 at 11am. Interment will follow in Trinity Cemetery Beeton. In honour of Roselyn’s memory take your family to dinner or donations to the Stronach Cancer Care Centre Newmarket would be appreciated.
