I know Ruth from working at Strone. Although I did not have much opportunity to really get to know her well, I admired her for her dedication and hard work. She was a wonderful person to know and work with. She will be very missed!!!

Ruth was one of those people at the pub when you met her she made the evening. I am not a pub type person, but she was so very sweet, almost make you want to go back!

Kyle and Mike, my sons and I send our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to you and your families. My sons, Jon and Mike, only met your mom once when she actually flew out to BC in ’06 with Vonnie, Mom (aka Mama, Ethel), Lauren and Graydon (Whitney already here at UBC) but they always remembered her with great affection. Ruth will always have a special place in my heart. Ruthie, you’re with Mama now, you take good care of each other, okay. Love, Cherie

Ruth , you will always be in my memories as a very straight forward person who always had out everyone else up front. You were over many years, a honour and privilege to have dealt with .
God bless you and may you rest in peace. Till we meet again for that beer.
