Mary Milner (McCallum) says
Dear Elsie, Janice and Family,
George and I were very sorry to learn of Fay’s passing. Our sincere condolences to all of you.
My family enjoyed many swims, card games, meals and visits with Fay and Cliff over the years in their home.
Fay was a very strong, determined, driven-woman, and freely spoke her mind. She was truly dedicated to her profession, helping young minds to read, grow and improve their skills. I will also remember her for her great love of animals and her efforts to help them and to protect them and the environment.
Fay also had an artistic side, her paintings, and I remember her learning to play the piano and writing poems, these abilities followed her into her later years. She would send beautiful hand-drawn and painted cards with lovely notes; she never lost her talent and always had to keep busy, it was her nature.
Unfortunately, we lost touch in the very last couple of years as her memory faded and I didn’t know how to reach her when she moved.
Fay showed me nothing but love, kindness and friendship, and I am grateful for all of the happy memories that we shared together; I will miss her.
Sincerely, Mary and George
