After a long courageous battle with Cancer, Sandy passed away peacefully with family by her side on Monday, December 16, 2013 at Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie. Sandy is survived by her loving husband Doug, her children Randy( Lindsay), Daphne (Ron), Jess (Tina), Amy, and her grandchildren. Pre-deceased by her parents Ella and Arthur Grant, and brother Paul. As per Sandy’s wishes cremation has taken place, and a private family burial will be held at a later date. Donations in memory of Sandy may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (4 Checkley Street, Suite 103, Barrie, L4N 1W1).

I only just today, December 30, heard the sad news of Sandy’s passing. We corresponded every few months via emails discussing our Keeshonds and what shows we were going to. We groomed together at a show a couple of years ago and had so much fun. I am so very sorry for your loss.. She will be missed.
