Dave, Maegan, Alisha and Karissa, We are so sorry about your loss. Saya was such a warm and vibrant woman. We fondly remember chatting with her at church and on those occasions when we drove her to church. I remember it so well when she announced to the congregation that Maegan had been accepted into vet school. Her maternal pride was so evident! She has left behind a wonderful family. I am sure that gave her a measure of peace knowing that her daughters have started on such rewarding paths. You will be deeply missed, Saya.
    Love,
    Ashley and Pete Zantingh

From the moment I met Saya at a Tyndale retreat I had the privilege of knowing her heart. We shared lunch often for one special term. Like so many, my life was deeply enriched by this wonderful woman in her passion for friendship, truth and Jesus. Saya, I will never forget you.

    Dear Dave and family,

We are saddened by your loss of Saya. She was our friend and was always so helpful to others who were struggling in grad school. She thought of others instead of herself. She modelled Christ’s love to others. We miss her greatly. Our hearts and prayers go out to you at this difficult time.
