Stephen Daniel Moorhead

In Memorial

Moorhead StephenMoorhead: Stephen Daniel

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Steve Moorhead. Steve was a loving and devoted husband to Cathy and a proud and dedicated father to Marissa (husband Nick), Tommy, Draven, Viky and Athena. He was a dear son of Shirley (the late Danny), affectionate brother of Debbie and treasured uncle to Cole.
An admired son-in-law to Sandy (the late Chris) and a caring brother-in-law to Pam (the late Jason), Mike and Jessica. Steve was a kind-hearted uncle to Evan and Brayden, and a great uncle to Jayna.
Steve’s kindness, generosity and warm heart touched the lives of his extended family, friends, neighbours, and co-workers, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Loved Always & Forever.

“It can’t rain all the time.”
-The Crow

I have not been around for years, but the impact that the moorhead family has had on me will last a lifetime. When I dated Cole as a teenager, I got to meet Cathy, Steve and the kids at a family BBQ they were having at the house. I was so nervous, but when I tell you I have never felt more welcome and loved by a group of strangers in my whole life, it would be an understatement. Steve and Cathy always greeted with hugs instead of handshakes and made me feel included in every family occasion I was invited too. It is a terrible and tragic loss to this world that Steve has left too soon. He will always be remembered by his kindness, his laughter and his love for his family and friends. I send all my love to Cathy and the kids, as well as everyone else feeling the deep impact through this difficult time. I hope they give him a leather vest to go with his wings, he’d made one bad ass guardian angel.

My deepest condolences to Cathy and family.
I know how I have felt in shock for days but I can’t even imagine what you and the family are going through.
Steve was probably one of the most kindest, caring, hard working individuals I have ever worked with.
I was lucky to have him by my side ,
    door to door for years.
He guided me many times as he watched me ( the new guy) struggle and be stressed to the max with the bread business and always, always took a moment to come over to help me out and tell me you’ll get it…just give it time and stay positive.
I always stayed in touch with Steve even though he left Brampton years ago for the Barrie depot and we always had a great love and respect for one another.
Cathy , I hope you and the family find the strength and assistance you may need, and are able to move forward and remember your amazing Husband and Father
    STEVE MOORHEAD ❤

Stu and I are so very sorry for your loss. Steve (the breadman as we called him) was such a great guy. While we hadn’t seen him in many years we did always enjoy when he would come in for a tattoo or stop by to say hello at the studio. Rest in peace Steve.

Steve and I were best of friends in high school, we grew up and became of age together. We had the best of times back then, I wouldn’t trade them for anything. You’ll always have a place in my heart. Miss you dude!
