Merv, Tim, Andrew & Aaron – I am sincerely sorry to hear about Anna’s passing.
I have fond memories of Anna’s friendly nature and as someone who welcomed you with open arms. It was through my dad’s solid friendship with Joe Spence, our family got to know and become friends with Anna and the wonderful family she was fiercely proud of.
Anna – you will be sorely missed!

So sad to hear of Anna’s passing. We have been neighbours for many, many years. Always enjoyed her special get togethers and chance meetings as she & Merv would be out for a walk. Or a quick conversation in the grocery store. A very gentle soul. Thoughts & prayers to you all.

Dear Merv, Tim, Andrew and Aaron:

I am sorry to hear about Anna’s death.

As time passed and I moved away, I used to only see Anna at the Legion on events such as Remembrance Day. But that didn’t stop Anna from being the welcoming, kind and wonderful person I remember. Even though I only saw her infrequently, it was like we had only seen each other yesterday and we quickly picked up the conversation and shared what was going on in our lives, as if no time had passed at all.

Anna would tell me stories about my own mum and dad that I had never heard before and then she would tell me about her own family before asking all about what I was up to in my life. The conversation flowed easily and our lives were like open books where we had to get out all our important news because we didn’t know when we would see each other again.

    My condolences.
