The last time I saw Verl and most of his brothers and sisters was at the Beeton fair when we road on the wagon drawn by Karl’s horses . I have fond memories of Verl and all of your family while growing up.

I had the honour of being one of Verl’s caregivers. He was always happy to see you and was always saying something to make you laugh. I will miss you so much Verl.

Sorry to hear of Verl’s passing. I will remember him as a gentleman with a ready smile and a friendly greeting. Helped run the Church Boys League in Beeton as we grew up.

Have known Verl for many years, either at work, at Lodge or if he was in our store shopping. Always a ray of sunshine and a charmer to the ladies on cash with his whit and smile. He was a very good Freemason and a true gentleman. Sorry for the family’s loss.

Verl worked with us at Canadian
Tire and it was the highlight of the day for all of us when he came to say good morning. He loved everyone and was so happy to just be there with us. Good bye Verl and we will remember you. It was a privilege to know you

Verl was a beloved member of Spry Lodge for more than 65 years. He always had a sprightly sense of humor, an engaging (and often mischievous) chuckle and a reminiscent story suitable for any occasion. He will be deeply missed.
