Hey Walter, we just heard the sad news now and we send our deepest condolences. It’s so hard to lose Mum. I can still hear her calling you in for dinner, ‘JUNIOR!’. It took me a long time to figure out why she called you that instead of Walter, silly me. She was a special lady and will always be a part of my childhood memories, John Stone and family.

Dear Linda, Susan (forever Susie to me) and Walter,
In thinking about your Mom, the song “I did it my way” by Frank Sinatra immediately came to mind. She really did live life her way. A wife and mother first, she was a business women ahead of her time. An accomplished artist, she superseded in the area of crafts. I remember the Barbie Doll clothing, her delicious baked goods and who can forget the games of Monopoly. She always won! I believe she is sitting beside her beloved Wally once again, overjoyed in discussing their three children, their wonderful families and proud of their legacy that will carry on for generations. I know you will miss her.
    All my love, Cathy

    To the whole Urbanski family!
Our hearts go out to you all. Your mom was a great lady and so positive! We spent hours when I was in the garden just chatting about everything you could think of over the years! She taught me more about irises and life than any book ever could! I will miss those chats. At times like this you just want to remember all the happy memories! I have a few that stand out in my mind but one a few years ago. Your mom came out to the garden to show my son how to dead head irises correctly, they were both leaning over the irises as I looked up. I was scared that she would fall as she was leaning so far and then I could see she was leaning on my son as they were talking! Every time I think of it it makes me smile! I will miss her but not as much as all of you!! Our deepest sympathy to you all!

Susan and Doug and the entire Urbanski clan: Heather and I offer our sympathy to all of you. Susan had kept us well informed as to her mom’s ups and downs over these past few years. We had heard many warm stories about Mrs Urbanski’s life in Tottenham and what it was like growing up as her daughter. Happy memories.
