Wayne was an incredibly wonderful father, grandfather, friend, and husband …. Wayne was there for me when my parents died, filling a deep void that I desperately needed. He would do anything for anyone if it helped them feel better, he was the best grandpa (Ampie) to Trent, Kristian and Nathan. He was a gentle, loving and a hard working man. He touched the lives of everyone who was lucky enough to know him. He cared ever so much about people, this is just such terribly sad news. My deepest condolences to Jody, Mike, Kevin and Lance. Also, to his closest friends and family. This truly was a big loss and he will never- ever be forgotten. Rest easy big guy, you’re always in my heart

Sincere sympathy to the family. It has been many years since I last saw Wayne, but I have fond memories growing up with him in the Magdalen Islands. In particular, sledding, dances in the Grosse Isle hall, his first vehicle.

    Dear Family and Friends,
Although I did not get the chance to spend much time with my grandfather, I know he was an important part of our family and was loved by many people. Through the stories I have heard, I have learned that he was a caring person who touched the lives of those around him.
Even though we did not see each other often, I am grateful to have been able to call him my grandfather. His life and the memories shared by family members will continue to be remembered.
Today, I join everyone in honoring his life and offering my love and support to our family. May he rest in peace and never be forgotten in heaven.
    Sincerely,
    Mia
